Search for next president of CLSU is now open

The Board of Regents of the Central Luzon State University (CLSU), Science City of Muņoz, Nueva Ecija formally and publicly announces that the Search for Presidency of the Central Luzon State University (CLSU)is NOW OPEN. Interested applicants and/or nominees are invited to send their formal applications to the Search Committee chaired by Dr. Emil Q. Javier.

The Search Committee for the CLSU Presidency is composed of:
Chairman - Dr. Emil Q. Javier
Members - Dr. Amelia A. Biglete, NCR CHED Dir., representing CHED
Rear Adm. Fidel Diņoso, Pres. PMMA, representing PASUC
Dr. Rolando Dollete, representing CLSU faculty
Mr. Dello V. Gervacio, representing CLSU students
Secretary - Prof. Edgardo C. Ibaņez


The minimum qualifications are:
1. Must be a holder of an earned doctoral degree;
2. Must have at least five (5) years managerial and administrative experience preferably in higher education institutions:
3. Must be a Filipino citizen;
4. Must posses leadership and managerial skills within the purview of the needs, thrusts, goals and objectives of the university;
5. Must be of good moral character;
6. Preferably must not be over 61 years of age during time of application.


Application should be accompanied:

1. Formal application letter;
2. Comprehensive curriculum vitae with picture highlighting the academic, research, extension and production exposure and certified supporting documents;
3. Proposed Vision, Mission and Thrusts for the University;
4. NSO authenticated birth and marriage certification;
5. NBI Clearance;
6. Ombudsman clearance for those already or have been in the government services;
7. Certificates of no pending administrative case from the Civil Service Commission Regional Office and present employers;
8. Result of Neuro-Psychiatric Examination
conducted by government physician or any accredited institutions;
9. Medical Certificate from government physician; and
10. Letter authorizing the Search Committee to validate submitted documents



Interested applicants and/or those nominated for the position are requested to submit six (6) sets of their formal application and certified supporting documents in a sealed envelope. Original documents must also be submitted in a separate envelope for authentication of duplicate. All documents must be submitted on or before February 20, 2007 to:
